Manchester United youngster Amad is updating fans on his recovery.
The Ivory Coast international picked up an injury during pre-season pre-season against Arsenal and has been sidelined ever since.
This abruptly ends the uncertainty as to whether he will be kept or loaned out by Erik ten Hag. It still defaults to recovery.
If he can be back before January, he could have a chance at winning a spot in the United squad. Amad injury update
Amad shared a photo via Instagram Stories of his injured knee and accompanied it with a short caption that reads:
“Step one.”
He is pictured with Carrington wearing a United training shirt and he clearly feels he is slowly getting closer.
Amad has proven his ability
Amad spent last season on loan at Sunderland and impressed by scoring 14 goals. He was recently voted the PFA Championship Player of the Year by fans.
The talented youngster has also shown his ability to create magic in a Manchester United shirt.
He has a Europa League goal at Old Trafford against AC Milan, and he also has a Premier League assist against Leicester City. What Amad needed was an opportunity. And with Antony struggling on form as well as having problems off the pitch, many United supporters want the youngster to be given a chance.
To do this, he must prove his talent. The Premier Injuries are currently giving “no return date”, and United have not revealed the exact details of his knee injury.
