The Daily Mail reported that Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq had shown interest in a loan deal for Sancho, who had been signed by Jordan Henderson earlier in the summer. However, negotiations broke down because Manchester United demanded a £50 million future sale obligation, a sum that the Saudi club reportedly found too high. Sky Sports mentioned that talks are planned during the international break between the player, club staff, and management, with the shared objective of improving Sancho’s performance.
Jadon Sancho, who has made three substitute appearances this season, was left out of the squad for the Arsenal match by Ten Hag, citing his training performance as the reason. In response, Sancho took to social media, expressing his belief that he was being unfairly blamed.
Meanwhile, former Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe has made a move to Ipswich Town. Despite making 37 appearances for Manchester United’s first team, he was released by the club in the summer. Tuanzebe had previously been on loan at Aston Villa, Napoli, and Stoke City.
Although there were discussions with Real Betis in Spain, as well as with Sheffield United and Luton Town, Tuanzebe ultimately chose to reunite with former Manchester United manager Kieran McKenna at Portman Road.
