According to Okpops’s understanding, Jesse Lingard is continuing to train with West Ham United despite the fact that he has had offers from clubs in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the MLS.
The 30-year-old has been working out with the Hammers for the past several weeks in order to keep up with his fitness levels, and there is a strong likelihood that he may return to London Stadium on a temporary deal.
Lingard had a productive loan stint at West Ham during the second half of the 2020/21 season. He scored nine goals in 16 Premier League games during that time, but he ultimately decided to return to Manchester United in order to compete for a spot on the first squad at Old Trafford.
Despite West Ham’s interest in bringing Lingard back to the capital, that move never came to fruition, and the next season, Lingard left to sign a one-year contract with Nottingham Forest. Despite that, West Ham was interested in bringing him back. After playing in 17 Premier League games and not scoring a single goal, he was cut loose in the summer.
Lingard is currently looking for his next opportunity now that he is a free agent. 90min is aware that the purpose of the arrangement for him to train with West Ham is to evaluate the possibility of the club granting him a short-term contract; nevertheless, any offer made by the team that won the Conference League will be highly incentivized.

Okpops has it on good authority that both Everton and Burnley have expressed an interest in acquiring Lingard’s services, but if he decides to remain in England, he will sign for West Ham. However, there is a possibility that he will be enticed to play in another country, as sources have confirmed that more lucrative offers are currently being made by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the MLS.
Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, two of the largest teams in Turkey, have held discussions with Lingard’s representation, while Al Shabab and Al Ettifaq, both of whom are interested in moving him to the Saudi Pro League and the latter of which is managed by Steven Gerrard, are interested in taking him there as well.
