Casemiro’s poor performance drew boos from the fans, but Marcus Rashford also faced harsh criticism for his lackluster display, looking like a shadow of the player who scored 30 goals in Ten Hag’s first season.
Rashford, who had been harshly criticized by Jamie Carragher before the game, disappointed the crowd when he turned and played the ball backward from a good position.
The substitution of Alejandro Garnacho for Amad Diallo in the second half was met with loud boos from the fans.
