In the second game in a row, Malo Gusto has been given an important role.
Against Man United, while playing as a right-back out of possession, he inverts centrally and effectively becomes a second No.10 along with Cole Palmer when Chelsea have the ball.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a consensus among Chelsea fans that the Frenchman is not quite up to the task, since his attacking abilities are fairly limited.
As a result, there is a clamour for Marc Cucurella to be brought on — which was already a popular option even before the game.
Will: “Gusto always being in our most dangerous positions is doing my head in. He’s honestly incapable of producing in the final third”
Chels HQ: “Gusto hasn’t even been bad but Reece in that position would kill United.”
Felix: “Just once again imagining Reece in these positions that Gusto is in… would be so much more threatening. Shame that seemingly he doesn’t have the fitness yet or we don’t want to test it.”
Pys: “I really don’t like Gusto in the right pocket, we need to get Palmer there or move James there and bring on Cucurella.”
Hajir: “Bring Cucurella on for Gusto as soon as possible. He’s holding us back.”
CFCDaily: “Maresca should sub Gusto off now he’s booked. If he’s bold he’d do it.”
