Barcelona are reportedly prepared to offer two of their key players in a bid to secure the signing of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez in a significant transfer deal.
The Spanish giants have re-established themselves as one of Europe’s top teams this season, currently sitting at the top of the La Liga table, ahead of Real Madrid, and comfortably among the top eight in the Champions League.

Fernandez, one of the Premier League’s most expensive signings, joined Chelsea for £107 million nearly two years ago. Barcelona reportedly aim to avoid paying a transfer fee by offering De Jong and Torres instead.
De Jong and Torres were signed by Barcelona for a combined £115 million but have struggled to maintain consistent form, reducing their current market value. *Transfermarkt* values De Jong at £49.3 million and Torres at £24.6 million.
At the start of the season, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca initially overlooked Fernandez, favoring a midfield partnership of Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo. However, Fernandez has recently proven his worth with three goals and six assists in his last six games across all competitions, including contributing to goals in his last five Premier League appearances.
