Eden Hazard has officially joined his new team and has returned to the Premier League.

A Premier League Club's Brilliant Move to Sign Eden Hazard Is Revealed A Premier League Club's Clever Move to Bring Eden Hazard Back to the League Amid Retirement Rumors

by Dandozzy

Eden Hazard reportedly turned down a “legit” offer from Crystal Palace to return to the Premier League in the summer, but a source said that his decision to retire would “not surprise” them.

After moving to Real Madrid in 2019 for more than £100 million, Hazard’s career took a turn for the worst. The winger had a fantastic career at Chelsea, where he advanced to become one of the best and most talented players in the continent.

In 352 games for the Blues, Hazard scored 202 goals and twice won the Premier League. He only managed to score three goals in a season while playing for Real, unable to continue his stellar play.

The Belgian left as a free agent after four unsuccessful seasons with the La Liga giants, but he wasn’t given much of an opportunity lately. At 32 years old, he is already thinking about retiring and has yet to sign with another team.

The fact that Crystal Palace was one team interested in bringing him back to the Premier League gave him the chance to move on. They originally expressed an interest in the summer, which Dean Jones, an insider, later confirmed.

The incentive for him to make a comeback doesn’t seem to be there, he told GIVEMESPORT. “There have been several significant offers for him, even the Crystal Palace one for him to play again in the Premier League was a legitimate one.

Jones added that Hazard’s comeback might be challenging in light of the fact that he hardly appeared during his final season with Real and has not been associated with a team since leaving.

As Jones pointed out, “He hasn’t played in a very long time; he’d have to work very hard to get back to top condition, so actually playing top level games could take some time.”

“Clubs that have expressed interest haven’t ruled him out because he’s a free agent, but this is a player who is very self-assured, isn’t affected by outside noise or behaviors, and will make the decision entirely on his own terms,” the source continued.

Jones thinks Hazard’s current lack of interest in signing with a new team suggests that the likelihood of his retiring is increasing.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hazard decided to stop playing football right now, he said.

Although it would be disappointing to see a modern great leave the game, his last few seasons have not gone as he had hoped. If he decides to hang up his gloves, he still had a brilliant peak before things went south.
