According to sources who spoke with Okpops, senior executives at Manchester United are ‘hopeful’ that Jadon Sancho will be reintegrated into Erik ten Hag’s plans for the first-team squad.

After complaining on social media that he was being made a “scapegoat” after Ten Hag disclosed that the winger was not selected for United’s loss against Arsenal due to poor training levels, Sancho is currently training away from the first team.

“I beg of you, please don’t put all that you read to faith! “I will not tolerate it if people continue to say things that are wholly untrue,” Sancho declared at the time. “During the past week, I have shown excellent behavior while participating in training. It is not fair that I have been used as a scapegoat for such a long period of time. I feel there are other causes for this situation, but I will not go into detail about them. My only goals are to enjoy myself while playing football and to make a positive contribution to my squad.I have the utmost respect for all of the decisions that are made by the coaching staff. The young man, who is now 23 years old, at first refused to withdraw his post from X (which was then known as Twitter), but he eventually consented to removing it off his feed. The England international has decided to shut his Instagram account at this time.

Ten Hag has claimed in news appearances that Sancho will not be permitted to return until he apologizes to him for this outburst. However, Sancho has continued to refuse to apologize to Ten Hag for this outburst.

The most recent thing that Ten Hag stated about Sancho was, “It depends on him,” prior to the victory at Burnley on Saturday.

Although top executives at the club, notably football director John Murtough, are working to smooth things over and are eager for Sancho to return to the first-team fold, it is our understanding that the United squad are fully behind Ten Hag with this issue.

However, according to sources close to Manchester United, the club is more ‘hopeful’ than they are convinced that Sancho will be reintegrated into Ten Hag’s plans.

Okpops reported earlier in September that Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq were interested in Sancho and that United were open to authorizing a move; however, a transaction of this nature was unable to be finalized prior to United’s transfer deadline.
