Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, is eager for a convincing victory to put the previous loss to Spurs and the controversy that followed about VAR in the past. The officiating choices made during Liverpool’s game against Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend caused many people to raise their eyebrows, but the team is prepared to move on.

According to Liverpool World, Darwin Nunez took part in training despite needing to wear a knee strap due to a small ailment that had kept him from starting against Spurs. This issue had caused Nunez to miss the game. Cody Gakpo, on the other hand, will be unable to participate in the contest as he continues to rehabilitate from an injury he sustained in the game before.

Thiago Alcantara has not returned to practice because he is still suffering from the aftereffects of a hip ailment that has plagued him since February of last year. In addition, younger players Stefan Bajcetic and Conor Bradley were not present during training because Bajcetic was dealing with an issue with his calf and Bradley was recuperating from a stress fracture in his back.

Caoimhin Kelleher, the team’s backup goalkeeper, was not observed at training, which is notable; nevertheless, there is no information available on any injury the Irishman may be suffering from, leaving the reason for his absence up to the realm of speculation.
