The news just broke that Jim Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the new owner of Manchester United, will replace Erik ten Hag with this manager.

It is possible that Man United will bring in De Zerbi's protege if Erik ten Hag does not meet the standards set by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Erik ten Hag’s position as manager at Old Trafford may soon be in risk if Sir Jim Ratcliffe is going to be as involved at Manchester United as was previously predicted.

Even though the deal hasn’t been finalised just yet, the Glazer family is planning to offer Sir Jim a 25% ownership part in the team in the near future. The sports department of the corporation will have Sir Jim’s active participation going forward.

It should come as no surprise that a squad of United’s calibre should not be satisfied with finishing 10th in the Premier League and having one of the worst starts in the team’s whole history.

Ten Hag has a solid foundation upon which to build after having such a successful first season in his new role, but the performance of the Red Devils in the 2023–24 season raises doubts about what went wrong.

United may not have had the best experience in the transfer market, but confidence is a significant component that plays a role for every player, and the team as a whole has struggled with this issue.

If the Dutchman isn’t able to drive his players to the requisite amount, Sir Jim may try to replace him with a protégé of Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi. This is a possibility. De Zerbi has received accolades for the manner in which his football team plays the game.

According to Sport Bible, Francesco Farioli, who is currently working for Sir Jim at Nice, a powerhouse in Ligue Un, will cross the channel to the Theatre of Dreams to herald in a new age. Francesco Farioli is currently employed by Sir Jim at Nice.

Farioli mentioned in an interview with L’Equipe (obtained through Sport Bible) that “one day, I wrote an article about Foggia on the internet on a website called Wyscout.”
