Throughout the summer, the Saudi Pro League displayed a significant amount of interest in Salah. The squad from the Premier League turned down all of the offers for the Egyptian international player, however.
However, when Liverpool turned down Al-Ittihad’s bid of £150 million, it is expected that Al-Ittihad will make another offer in the new year that is far higher.
Since Klopp believes Salah will leave the team, Sane has already been positioned to take Salah’s place in the starting lineup.
Liverpool is prepared to break its own transfer record in order to sign Sane from Bayern Munich. Currently, the club’s record transfer fee is £85 million, which was paid for Darwin Nunez.
Sane made the move from Manchester City to Bayern Munich in 2020 for a transfer fee of £54.8 million. He is currently in the midst of his fourth season with the club.
