David de Gea, a former goalkeeper for Manchester United, is currently being considered for transfer by two different Spanish teams respectively.

During the summer transfer window, a number of clubs made efforts to acquire the services of the Spanish goalkeeper, who is 32 years old.

It has been reported that teams from the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer are very interested in acquiring his services.

On the other hand, De Gea turned down these offers, making it clear that he would rather go back to Spain. It is now possible that he will receive bids from his native country, as Real Betis and Valencia have both expressed interest in the international free agent.

Despite the fact that he parted ways with Manchester United in June, the veteran goalkeeper has not been transferred to another club. Over the course of this time period, he has kept his fitness level up by participating in individual training sessions.

Over the course of the past two seasons, De Gea’s performance has deteriorated, despite the fact that he has spent the previous 12 years at Old Trafford.

As a result of this downturn, Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, made the decision to acquire Andre Onana from Inter Milan as suitable successor.

Given the various possibilities available to him, it would appear that Real Betis is the more appropriate choice for De Gea.

The Seville-based team is now dealing with a difficulty as a result of an injury sustained by their normal goalkeeper, Rui Silva, as well as the return of Claudio Bravo, who is 40 years old and had been out for a considerable amount of time. As a consequence of this, the former Manchester United player could be able to provide a solution that is more reliable.

However, if the 32-year-old goalie were to play for Valencia, he would face intense competition from the young Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, and it is not guaranteed that he would start every single week.

There has been a lot of attention paid to the possibility of De Gea moving back to Spain, but it is yet unclear where he will continue his footballing career.
