The Egypt coach has provided an update on Mo Salah’s injury, which has caused a commotion.
Concerns were raised among fans as a result of an injury sustained by Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah during Egypt's Africa Cup of Nations encounter against Ghana.
When asked about Salah’s injury, Egypt’s coach, Rui Vitoria, expressed confidence and stated that he believes it is not particularly dangerous.
The setback occurred before the end of the first half when Salah indicated that he was unable to continue playing. He then handed the captain’s armband to Ahmed Hegazi and exited the field of play immediately after.
Despite the fact that Salah’s ailment caused supporters to be concerned, Vitoria said that it might not be a serious injury.
Ghana defeated Egypt, and Mohammed Kudus gave Ghana the lead just before halftime. This occurred despite the fact that Salah was not present. Omar Marmoush and Mostafa Mohamed scored respectively for Egypt, bringing the score to a tie later on.
