It has come to our attention that six players from Liverpool are confirmed to be absent from the Carabao Cup final match against Chelsea.

Due to injuries sustained during their match against Brentford on Saturday, Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones will not be able to participate in the Carabao Cup final that will take place this coming weekend.

In addition to the problems that Jurgen Klopp is already dealing with, Jota and Jones were both forced to leave the game during the first half of the Reds’ 4-1 victory over the Bees due to knee and ankle injuries.

According to the Telegraph, both of Liverpool’s stars have been subjected to scans within the past twenty-four hours, and the results have indicated that they will not be available for the upcoming matches that Liverpool will be playing, which include a match against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.

At the moment, the Merseyside club is experiencing something of an injury crisis, and the victory over Brentford that they achieved over the weekend was a costly one.

A knee ailment has also prevented Trent Alexander-Arnold from participating in the Carabao Cup, and goalkeeper Alisson’s condition is unknown after he suffered a muscle injury during training on Friday.

Both of these players are unable to play in the tournament.

Klopp, the German coach, is still waiting to learn more about Dominik Szoboszlai and Darwin Núñez, despite the fact that all of these players are significantly important to him.

Chelsea is one of the groups that stands to benefit from this, as the Blues may be able to see a completely different team playing against them than the one that defeated them by a score of 4-1 at Anfield at the beginning of this month.
