A shocking piece of information has come to light which is the possibility of Jadon Sancho returning to Manchester United is one hundred percent, but there is a condition that is associated with it.

Due to the fact that Sebastian Kehl, Borussia Dortmund's sporting director, stated that the transfer fee would be too high, it appears that Borussia Dortmund will not be able to recruit Jadon Sancho on a permanent move from Manchester United.

Sancho, who had previously established himself as one of the greatest wingers in Europe during his first stint at Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, made his way back to Germany from Manchester United on a temporary basis last month.

This came after he had a disagreement with Erik ten Hag and was unable to play for Manchester United.

Sancho has already compared his return to Dortmund to an experience of being back at “home,” and he has stated that it was something that frequently crossed his mind while he was playing for United.

But it is possible that his stay there may not be long-lasting, as Kehl has admitted that the Bundesliga club is not likely to have the financial wherewithal to purchase him come summer.

Dortmund is in a similar situation with Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen, who is now on loan from Tottenham.

“Unfortunately for both players, neither option was realistic,” Kehl said in an interview with Sky Sport Germany.
In addition, he stated, “If you know what we got for Jadon Sancho two and a half years ago, then you also know that it might not be very, very difficult,” referring to the move, which was worth 73 million pounds and was made to England.

“We naturally advocated for a [permanent] option on him – and also with Ian – but the negotiating position was not such that we could implement it and so we will accept it for now.”

United did not permit an option to buy to be included in the final transaction, despite the fact that there is a possibility that his value may skyrocket once more if he were to return to his previous self when he was playing for Dortmund.

A strategy quite similar to this one has been utilized by the club in the past with regard to loan agreements, most notably when Alexis Sanchez joined Inter in 2019.

Sancho has already racked up more minutes in the Bundesliga this season in the span of three weeks than he has in the Premier League in the span of five months, despite the fact that he has not featured for United since August.

Despite the fact that he was unable to participate in Dortmund’s match against Heidenheim on Friday due to an injury, the 23-year-old player contributed assists in his first two games, which resulted in victories against Darmstadt and Koln.
