This news comes at a crucial juncture for the Reds, who are set to embark on a demanding run of fixtures, with 10 games scheduled over the course of just 35 days.

The return of Jones provides Klopp with additional options and strengthens Liverpool’s midfield depth as they navigate through this busy period.

Jones, who has been sidelined since February 17 following the win against Brentford, is poised to make his comeback as early as this week. Klopp’s announcement suggests that the talented midfielder could be in contention for selection when Liverpool faces Sheffield United in their upcoming fixture.

The return of Jones injects further energy and quality into Liverpool’s squad, offering Klopp greater flexibility in team selection and tactical approaches as they continue their pursuit of success in both domestic and European competitions.

“Curtis is [in] full training,” Klopp told reporters. “He trained already with us on Saturday, but had then extra, because the [matchday] minus one [session] does not have the intensity Curtis needed.

“He was with us, then he had an extra shift. He will be in full training. What does that mean exactly for the game? Let me have a look at that.

“Nobody else [will be back on Thursday]. The others, slowly but surely, but not yet.”
