Facing off against Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr endured a nightmarish performance, marked by a contentious incident that thrust Ronaldo into the spotlight.

Tensions reached a boiling point when Al-Nassr thought they had secured a crucial goal courtesy of Otavio, only to have it disallowed amid controversy surrounding Ronaldo’s offside positioning and failure to connect with the ball.

Ronaldo’s frustration with the decision quickly escalated into a heated confrontation with the referee, setting the stage for further chaos.

The situation took a dire turn for Ronaldo as he received a yellow card for vehemently disputing the call.

However, the nadir of his downfall arrived when he lost his cool, lashing out with an elbow at an Al-Hilal player, resulting in an immediate expulsion from the match.

In a shocking turn of events, Ronaldo’s frustration boiled over as he gestured toward referee Mohammed Khaled Al-Hoaish in a threatening manner, followed by a sarcastic round of applause directed at the official.

Despite Ronaldo’s dismissal, Al-Hilal emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over Al-Nassr. Salem Al-Dawsari opened the scoring for Al-Hilal, with Malcolm adding a second goal.

Sadio Mane managed to pull one back for Al-Nassr late in the game, but it proved insufficient as they were eliminated from the Super Cup by their rivals.
