Following a period of severe mental and physical trauma, Manchester United star Tyrell Malacia has announced his departure from the club.

Malacia had been out of action for a considerable amount of time.

The defender, who is 24 years old and was acquired from Feyenoord in 2022 for approximately £15 million, has not played for United since knee surgery was performed in the summer of last year. In point of fact, the Dutch left-back is not expected to play for the Reds again until May 28th, 2023.

A month later, Erik ten Hag announced that Malacia would most probably miss the balance of the 2023–24 season.

Malacia was scheduled to be making his way back to first-team action in February, but Erik ten Hag stated that he would not be able to play for the team.

Fans were overjoyed to see the defender return to action after such a lengthy absence from the active roster.

A reference to the defense was made by Erik ten Hag during an interview that took place earlier this week with Voetbal International.

According to him, Tyrell Malacia did not participate in a single minute of football action during this season.
