Taking to his personal Twitter account, the former Liverpool man shared two images of an incident where Noussair Mazraoui took the back of Cody Gakpo’s leg, advantage was played but not looked at by VAR.
In a game that had very little controversy in terms of VAR, this does appear to have been an incident that’s gone completely unnoticed as it’s a clear penalty.

Liverpool now find themselves on maximum points from their opening three games without even conceding a goal, which puts them second to Manchester City on goal difference.
Slot’s men will be keen to keep up their momentum over the international break, whether away on international duty or working with the Dutchman at the AXA training centre.
