Home » Premier League » Liverpool has released the expected return dates for Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones, and Cody Gakpo’s injuries ahead of their Europa League games.
It wasn’t just Gakpo who left the field early in Liverpool’s loss in North London; referee Simon Hooper also red carded Curtis Jones and Jota after their respective sides equalized.

In his post-match press conference after the loss in North London, Klopp stated that Gakpo was returning to Merseyside with a brace on his leg.

Hooper quickly checked at slowed-down videos before flashing a red card in Jones’ direction.
The Reds’ next games against Brighton, Everton, and Nottingham Forest will be missed by Jones due to his dismissal and subsequent three-match suspension.
He will be eligible for Thursday’s Europa League match against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium.

Following Jones’ first-half departure, Jota was sent out for getting two yellow cards in rapid succession, leaving Liverpool with nine men.
But unlike Jones, the Portugal international will just miss one game of his sentence and will be eligible for selection when Everton returns to Anfield on October 21.

The midfielder hasn’t played since April, extending his absence from Liverpool to six months.
The Spaniard has not yet begun training after having a setback in his rehabilitation from hip surgery at the tail end of last season.

When queried last week about the midfielder’s fitness, he makes the ball come in the proper locations. He needs to return.
He is healing even though he hasn’t started training again yet.

In two games during the preseason in Germany, the youthful full-back played ninety minutes and showed promise.

Following his League One debut with Bolton Wanderers the previous campaign, the Northern Irishman is expected to be a part of Klopp’s plans as Alexander-Arnold’s backup when he returns to full health.
