It has been reportedly confirmed that a controversial former Premier League manager is going to take over for Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

One of the most notable accomplishments that the Dutchman oversaw during his first season as manager at Old Trafford was United’s victory in the Carabao Cup. Additionally, United finished in third place in the Premier League season.

However, this campaign has not been as easy as it was in the past. The Red Devils have already suffered ten defeats across all competitions, are currently in seventh place in the Premier League, and are on the verge of being eliminated from the Champions League at the group stage.

After not being informed about rumors of unrest in the dressing room, United decided to prevent four journalists from attending Ten Hag’s pre-match press conference. This decision was made prior to the Premier League match that was scheduled to take place on Wednesday against Chelsea.

During that press conference, Ten Hag defended his record as the individual in charge of the club and argued that the organization is still making progress.

Ten Hag was then questioned for a timeframe on when United may be expected to be at the level he wants, but he was hesitant to put up a specific answer. Ten Hag was requested to provide a detailed response.

“First of all, I can’t say in this club we are waiting for two, three years,” answered the manager.
