Following the release of a viral video of Liverpool’s most recent encounter against Bournemouth, FIFA has just issued some very unfortunate news for Jurgen Klopp. The video shows Klopp interacting with Paul Tierney, who is an assistant referee for the games.

Following the reckless tackle that Justin Kluivert made on Luis Diaz, Klopp was seen on camera conversing with the fourth official in order to inquire about the events that were taking place.

In the video, it is clear that Klopp is informed that Paul Tierney is in charge of the video assistant referee (VAR), which prompted him to make the sardonic comment, “it’s Paul Tierney, oh in the video.”

This statement is rife with sarcasm, and it makes it very evident that, from that point on, the manager, who is 56 years old, has resigned himself to the possibility that there will be no further consequences enforced.
